Frequently Asked Questions
-
What types of immigration cases does Twin Cities Immigration handle?
Twin Cities Immigration handles individual and family-based immigration, naturalization, adjustment of status, removal of conditions, DACA renewals, humanitarian parole, and more. Schedule a consultation to discuss your specific situation.
-
What are your fees? Are payment plans available?
We offer flat-fee packages for most services, so you know the total cost upfront. Twin Cities Immigration does offer payment plans!
Filing fees are separate and set by USCIS and are collected by our firm when you pay for your service package.
-
Do I need an immigration attorney, or can I file myself?
While some forms can be filed without a lawyer, mistakes or delays can jeopardize your case and cause delay. An immigration attorney helps ensure everything is done correctly the first time. Our trained staff of attorneys and paralegals will ensure your forms are complete and filed correctly.
-
Do you offer virtual or remote services?
Twin Cities Immigration is a fully remote law firm based in St. Paul, Minnesota. We work with clients throughout Minnesota and across the country using secure online portals and video consultations.
-
This is a frequently asked question?
Processing times vary by form type and USCIS service center. Check USCIS’s processing time tool the most current estimate.
-
Can you help fix mistakes on a previously filed application?
Yes. If you or a prior representative made an error, we can file a motion to reopen or correct it, depending on the circumstances.
-
Will you attend my interview with me?
Yes! If your case includes an interview (such as for adjustment of status or naturalization), your attorney can attend with you to advocate on your behalf.
-
What if I’ve been denied or received a Request for Evidence (RFE)?
We can review your case and respond to RFEs or denials, and determine if an appeal, motion to reopen, or refiling is your best option.

You'll be asked up to 10 questions from a list of 100. You must answer at least 6 correctly. See the official USCIS study guide
